Summary

This is just an overview, not a review. We did not test the Endorphin Rift yet.
Meet the Saucony Endorphin Rift, a wonderful addition to the Endorphin trail family. The Rift shares a lot in common with its older sibling, the Endorphin Edge, such as being packed with an ultra-resilient midsole cushion, except for the carbon fiber plate. This gives the Rift a certain nimbleness and superb flexibility on tricky trails.

The midsole cushion is made of PWRRUN PB foam. It's light and responsive, making for speedy runs, and excellent leg turnover, while also giving you enough cushioning for those longer trails. A neat addition is the protective rock plate, which guards your feet against sharp rocks but doesn't shield you from the wonderful feel of the terrain under your feet.

The outsole of the shoe stands out, too. It sports 4.5mm lugs and PWRTRAC rubber, making it suitable for any surface. Whether it's a dry track or damp and muddy, this shoe has you covered. It grants superior grip, exceptionally helpful in any weather, and is designed to handle wear and tear quite well.

The upper specifically designed for trail running is a sweet blend of durability, breathability, and protection. It has a padded heel counter for comfort that lasts all day, and a secure midfoot wrap that will keep your foot in place as you pick up speed.

Summing it up, the Saucony Endorphin Rift provides a versatile ride that’s great for training or trail races. Its durability, responsiveness, and adaptability make it a good option, one that's fun and functional. It looks like it'll take good care of your feet, even on the most challenging terrains.

The key technologies to remember here include its PWRRUN PB foam midsole, PWRTRAC Rubber outsole, and a protective debris shield on the upper. These all culminate in delivering a running shoe that's ready to tackle any trail.

Who is it for?

The Saucony Endorphin Rift is suited for the trail runner who seeks both speed and durability in their footwear.
These runners frequently tackle varied terrains and weather conditions and appreciate a shoe that offers a good blend of responsiveness, protection, and adaptability.
Comfort for long distance running, superior grip for safety and security and versatility for training or trail races are also important for these runners.

They value technologies that provide comfort, durability, and protection from trail debris, and that enhance their overall trail running experience, regardless of the challenge.
