Vaporfly is the original "super-shoe". In its quest to achieve a marathon time under 2 hours, Nike started experimenting placing a carbon-fiber plate in the midsole of its racing shoe and so the first Vaporfly was born. Since then, every other shoe brand has been creating their own super shoes - but the Vaporfly remains the original.
