In reply to Amos K.. Have the same that I need to find some alternatives after I have enough miles in the Omni. I have doubts about the Guide 17. Not sure if it is just not a Hoka Clifton lacking stability. Another potential issue with the guide 17 looks to me the lack of outsole rubber making it not such a versatile shoe as you can only use it on paved roads. Strong doubts on durability there probably won’t last for 500 miles. Need to wait on the first reviews on the hurricane 24. The only other alternative on the saucony route is then the tempus. Maybe need to find a sale on that one when the tempus 2 launches. Why do they make these shoes so expensive nowadays?

Bland and heavy – I run up to 25% slower in these compared to my Noosa Tri 15s. The only use case I can think of for these is in wet conditions when the very grippy outsole helps. This is literally a ”nothing” shoe for me. Sorry Nike

I have been in Omni’s for over a decade. I just got the 22’s today – and in my opinion – the shoe is ruined. The new arch support is just less forgiving and more pronounced. This is the model that will now force me to look for another brand or model….oh well. That’s progress!

I tried Ride 15 for interval runs.I have 1.85 m, 103 kilos and I wear 45 size.From the very first day I understood that these shoes are not good for this purpose.The pain in the ankle after 7km run was pretty consistent and I never used these shoes for running,lacking the right support for it.

I do not get all the concerns about this shoes.
If you think that is not a race shoe, this is one of my favorite and can be used for both fast and slow runs.
In the last year I tried Saucony Ride, Brooks Tempo, Saucony End. Shift, Pegasus 40, Hoka Carbon X, Hoka Mach 4 and this is far better than the others.

In reply to Genevive. Hi Genevive. Yes, you can use the S4 if you're a slight overpronator. It's quite firm so I find it very stable. Only use it if you like firm shoes.

the 35’s were the best…I tried the 36th, doesn’t even work for walking with me. The 37’s were ok, but not great, 38’s about the same as the 37’s just a little more cushion, but that’s it for me. I gave up on them
