Thanks Patrick, glad to hear you’ve been enjoying the shoes! Planning to purchase a new pair is a very high sort of praise for us 🙂

I’ve run probably 350 miles in these and raced one half in them. This is a great shoe for wide feet. Mine have held up pretty well, but have blown out in the typical spot for me where the head of my first metatarsal rubs; this is pretty standard in my shoes in any brand. My only complaint is that I have developed a callus where the inner material rubs against my foot in that same spot (on both feet). I will be ordering another pair of these soon though.

Hi Michelle,

I’m glad to hear you enjoyed how they felt, but sorry they did not live up to your expectations with durability. If you feel there is a warranty issue, please email cs@skorarunning.com. I’ve covered over 600 miles in my pair so far and have been quite happy with their longevity 🙂

Very happy with this shoes.

Which is a pity, because I am a self-confessed shoe hog and cannot look at other makes any more!

So, as I really like the ‘Fit’ I thought I’d give the ‘Tempo’ a go.

It is very high quality built shoe and looks great, I was out the door minutes after they arrived and after 1 mile I knew they weren’t the shoe for me. They do indeed feel a little clunky, but the worst thing for me was the two bleeding blisters they gave me on both my achilles. I took the insoles out and it helped a little but the walk home wasn’t nice.

Also the insole is cut for a flat fit, but it isn’t flat in the shoe, it’s wider and the edge pushes against the arch of the foot. This could be easily correct if the insole edge was chamfered so it followed the contour of the shoe. I still think it’s a good shoe, just not for my type of foot. Ebay for the ‘Tempo’ I’m afraid!

Well… I’ll just have to order another pair of ‘FIT’s and that’s fine with me!

I agree that this is no longer a minimal shoe, and may feel like too much sole for someone seeking that super light feel. However, to someone who habitually runs in something more cushioned, this is going to feel much more like a very light racing flat 🙂

For myself, who has been in minimal shoes for about six years now, the TEMPO falls in my rotation as a hard run or racing shoe. The lightness of it + the cushioning is welcome for long hard workouts and trail/road races.

Funny — I thought it was just me! It didn’t occur to me to replace the insole, but I’ve tried different thicknesses and types of socks — still blister. But agreed — these shoes have a lot of good stuff to offer!

I thought it was the insole at first, but I’ve tried a couple of different ones and get the same result. Still, I love these shoes and they are good up to about 11-12 miles. I can’t say enough good things about the way the heels fit and I wish more shoes had this type of lacing.
