Hi Kay. Some other flexible, lightweight shoes that you can try that have a little bit more cushioning are the: New Balance Tempo, New Balance Beacon V3, Adidas SL20.2, Brooks Hyperion Tempo. The New Balance Tempo has the most ground feel and is the most flexible of the bunch.

I have always liked this shoe because of its flexibility and light weight. However I am now training for my very first marathon and trying to find something with the equivalent flexbility, light feel and most importantly space inside for my toes to spread (due to mortons neuroma – the 5.0 free have been amazing in that I can run with no pain) but with slightly more cushion due to the huge difference in running 15k to running a marathon. I am not a fast runner – 10k in an hour and very aware I need to slow my pace for the marathon in October 2021 – but at 62 I would like to finish the marathon as well as I can. Any suggestions on which shoes to use?
Many thanks
